How to deal with sudden high temperature when using bearings. In fact, don't blindly do anything in this situation. First, analyze what causes the temperature rise. Specifically, I have analyzed the following parts:
1. The bearing cooling water is interrupted.
2. The fault light sign of the turbine machinery on the machine side panel lights up, indicating that the instrument temperature of the bearing has increased, and the signal relay is activated.
3. The black needle of the thermometer dial (expansion thermometer) overlaps with or exceeds the yellow needle.
4. Deterioration of oil quality, if the oil itself is not clean or the oil deteriorates during operation, such as an increase in water content in the oil, it will cause an increase in the acidity of the oil, reduce the lubrication effect of the oil, corrode the bearing shell, and cause an increase in bearing temperature.
The above four points will cause the bearing to overheat. How to deal with these problems? Don't worry, below I will share with you the solutions.
1. Check if the cooling water pressure, flow, and piping system are normal. If the water pressure is low, it may be due to filter blockage that cannot be dealt with in a timely manner. The machine can be stopped for processing, and when it is confirmed to be working, it can be put back into use.
2. The oil pressure of the governor should be checked, as low oil pressure may cause the cooling water hydraulic valve to close.
3. Take an oil sample and observe whether there is any change in oil color, and conduct a laboratory test to see if it has deteriorated. If deterioration is confirmed, the machine should be stopped and replaced with new oil.
