A single row needle roller bearing without an inner ring consists of an outer ring component with needle rollers and a cage. In applications where the shaft surface has hardened and ground raceways, this type of bearing is an excellent choice for compact bearing configurations. The outer ring is equipped with integral retaining edges on both sides for axial guide bearings, and a lubrication groove with one or more lubrication holes for easy replenishment of lubrication.
